Description
Packard Station Wagons have been among the rarest and most desirable of all the ‘Woody Wagons’. Production records show 58 Hercules-bodied 120 wagons. Only a dozen are thought to exist, the rarest is the 8-cyl 120 models and fewer than 10 are registered with the Packard Club. Framed in white ash with panels in dark mahogany, Packard touted an improved ‘Safe-T-Flex’ suspension. The cushy ride quality is brought about by a combination of coil springs up front, self-controlling leaf springs in the rear and 5 airplane-type shocks. There are spacious accommodations for 8 passengers with deeply cushioned seats mounted on tubular steel frames. This particular Packard Station Wagon was known for its passenger car ride, far superior to the competitor’s wagon….’You won’t be disappointed!’
