Description
1934 was a pinnacle design year for the automotive industry.
The art deco design of the 652-Y displayed tasteful side louvers, molded body lines including the fenders with sculptured lines, and the flowing grille to create perfection in styling.
The Auburn offered here features a professionally executed restoration from the paint, chrome and body work, engine and drivetrain, to the undercarriage. A beautiful interior restoration includes correct green leather and carpeting plus an excellent fitting the “hide away” hartz cloth tan top with green leather piping as well. The rumble seat is also fitted in forest green. Please note the windshield folds forward to give a very sporting look !!. When it is raised, the roll up side windows fit perfectly to the top for a dry ride.
The Auburn is powered by its original 210 cu in. inline six cylinder Lycoming engine mated to a three-speed transmission. In addition, to the four-wheel hydraulic brakes with power assist, the car is fitted with a highly desirable two-speed rear Columbia axle. The late owner had the Auburn certified with the ACD Club years ago and it carries number A278. Ready to tour or show !
